01Series B announcement Jul 15, 2025

Today I'm thrilled to share that Unify has raised a $40M Series B led by Battery with participation from OpenAI, Thrive, Emergence, and others.

Our Series B comes just 9 months after we announced our Series A. We've grown revenue 8x year-over-year and are grateful to be trusted by customers like Perplexity, Cursor, Airwallex and Flock to reimagine go-to-market in the era of AI.

You can build an amazing product but still fail because the status quo for growth no longer works. With stellar products being built in a fraction of the time, distribution has become the barrier to success.

Our mission is to transform growth into a science, so the best products can just win.

02Steve Jobs on people Apr 7, 2025

In 1992, Steve Jobs was asked what his biggest learning at Apple was.

His answer: it's important to take a long-term view on people.

What Steve said in this interview:

"When I see something not being done right my first reaction isn't to go fix it. It's to say we're building a team here and we're going to be doing great things for the next decade not just the next year. And so what do I need to do so that the person screwing up learns."

I find that as Unify continues to scale I have to continue reminding myself that jumping in and solving the problem myself isn't the right answer. Instead its important to enable team members around me to solve problems themselves.

On Tuesday night, Connor and I had the opportunity to pitch Unify to Jensen Huang at NVIDIA HQ. One of the most special parts of Silicon Valley is people like Jensen.

For 10 minutes, we had the floor. Connor and I (but mostly Connor) were on our toes answering questions like how our model routing works, and ideating on ways we could collaborate.

The CEO of the world's most valuable company doesn't have to do this. He doesn't have to get to know Series B startups and the stories behind them. But he's excited to anyways.

We hope to have you and the NVIDIA team using Unify soon Jensen :) Thanks again for hosting us.

Today I'm incredibly excited to announce Unify's $12M Series A led by Emergence and Thrive with participation from OpenAI.

We started Unify 631 days ago with the mission to be the best platform for revenue teams to power creative, thoughtful and delightful interactions with their customers.

Our core thesis is that the way revenue teams interact with data is broken. Rich data valuable for revenue teams exists in many silos today and while the modern data stack promised to break down these silos, few teams are succeeding. Our data graph is the brain for AI to make human-quality decisions on top of.

We've quickly grown to 7-figures of annualized revenue, and have grown revenue 39x year-over-year.

Two funding rounds, one Steve Jobs quote, one ten-minute meeting with Jensen. Not one product launch in the top four. Austin's top posts are about moments, and the team that made them happen.
The thesis

Austin isn't posting. He's running a publishing operation.

The system, reverse-engineered.

Every high-performing post he's shipped in the last 18 months fits one of five templates. Learn them, steal them, ship them.

The meta-move

His most-saved post of Q1 was a post about posting.

In March, Austin co-hosted a webinar with Tommy Clark on the five founder-led post formats for 2026. The recap post itself, summarizing the five formats, outperformed every product launch that quarter.

"We used the same principles at Unify to create $20M in pipeline via founder-led content in 2025." From Austin's recap of the Tommy Clark webinar

Teaching the playbook proves you can run the playbook. It's the rarest kind of content: it makes the writer more credible the closer you inspect it, not less.
